Lumen Scholar Institute’s administration cordially invites all students in grades 9 -12 to our school’s prom. This is always an honor for us as a school, and we look forward to it each year.

As the hosts of this special event, we would like to remind all parents and students that our prom is designed to be a special evening of elegance for our students.

Cost – The school covers prom costs, including a fine dining experience for students and guests. Dinner starts promptly at 6:30 PM. Doors will open at 6:15 PM.

Dress Code – Students should dress as school guests and behave appropriately for this formal occasion. Think of an elegant evening instead of a night on the town! This includes being adequately covered by clothing. Please use good judgment when selecting attire for the evening! Formal dress attire is required.

The school administration can refuse admittance to students who do not meet the dress code.

Guest (non-Lumen student) – Students may invite only (1) guest (non-Lumen student) to the prom, or they may attend without a guest.

Lumen students may attend together, but each must register independently and are NOT considered guests.

• Guests must be in grades 9-12 or of an equivalent age if homeschooled.
• No graduated students or adults may attend as a guest.
• Students must be in good standing with their school to attend. Lumen Scholar Institute will verify this information with the guest’s school. Homeschooled students may participate if their age is verified by government ID.

Lumen Scholar Institute must verify and approve guests before prom attendance. The student who requested the guest will receive an email with approval or denial.

No students will be admitted to Prom without prior registration.
