April 21 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Event Details

Lumen Scholar Insitute’s administration cordially invites all students in grades 10-12 to our school’s prom. This is always an honor for us as a school, and we look forward to it each year.

As the hosts of this special event, we would like to remind all parents and students that our prom is designed to be a special evening of elegance for our students. The school covers the costs of prom, including a fine dining experience.

Dress Code – Students should dress as school guests and behave appropriately for this formal occasion. Think of an elegant evening instead of a night on the town! This includes being adequately covered by clothing. Please use good judgment when selecting attire for the evening! Formal attire is required.

To see examples of acceptable and unacceptable attire, please go here.

The school administration can refuse admittance to students who do not meet the dress code.

Guest Policy – Students may invite only one (1) guest to the prom, or they may attend without a guest.

  • Guests must be at least a sophomore in high school or of an equivalent age if homeschooled and be no older than a 12th grader
  • No graduated students or adults may attend as a guest.
  • Students must be in good standing with their school to attend. Lumen Scholar Institute will verify this information with the guest’s school. Homeschooled students may participate if their age is verified by government ID.

Guest attendance must be verified and approval granted by Lumen Scholar Institute before attendance at prom. An email with approval or denial will be sent to the student who requested the guest by April 14th.

REGISTRATION – To complete the required registration to attend the prom and to register to bring a guest, please complete this form by the deadline of  April 10th, 2023. No student registrations or guests will be accepted after the deadline. No entrance without prior registration will be allowed at the door.
